The results are in from the city’s crackdown on office-to-residential conversion projects, following a partial collapse at the former Pfizer headquarters. The first phase of a New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) safety check uncovered violations at 19 construction sites, though inspectors found no hazardous structural issues posing an “imminent danger to public safety,” Gothamist reported.
