After a rollout that was bungled in the eyes of some New York City homeowners, a slight break is on the way for potential subjects of the pied-à-terre tax. The deadline for appealing letters suggesting subjugation to the tax is being extended from Aug. 21 to Sep. 18, Gothamist reported.
