While the sun has set on a Catholic academy in Sunset Park, it’s on the rise for a public charter school expanding into the high school ranks. Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School signed a lease for 77,000 square feet at 5902 Sixth Avenue in the Brooklyn neighborhood, the Commercial Observer reported. The landlord at the property is Redemptorist Fathers of New York. The space was previously leased to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Academy.
