The City Council on Thursday overrode a bevy of mayoral vetoes, including measures that set new restrictions on what types of housing the city finances.  The Council reversed 17 of former Mayor Eric Adams’ vetoes, most of which he made on his last day in office. That’s more than the number of vetoes voided by the Council over the last decade, according to Speaker Julie Menin.
