After several strong weeks, Brooklyn’s luxury market slowed down. The borough saw 15 contracts — five condos and 10 houses — signed between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16 for a total asking volume of $49 million. The total was down from the previous week, which saw 27 contracts signed for $80 million. The priciest property to snag a signed contract was a historic mansion on a sprawling plot of land south of Prospect Park. Built in 1904, the 5,000-square-foot home on 1221 Albemarle Road scored a contract with a last asking price of $6 million, according to Compass’ weekly report. […]
